about

Compilation of our EPs/singles from 2011 to 2012.

At this time mostly an electronic band with gutiars very rare though they do occur on the final track I THought He Was Your Reflection.

We start with more minimal wave style in pulsing, head darkwave synthpop wiht PDM, industrial Ode to the Living Dead and Snake. Then we enter a more minimalwave phase with My Life With Her, Newsreel Cities (though slightly less so in this form) and I Was Christ.

RON continues in that vein and even oblivion to a degree but then that final track is definitely goth..

OIh and Un(w)hol(e)y is quite definitely an attempt at Cyber EBM and Derek now hates it and will never perform it live agian.

During this time we were finding our feet as a live band and had some VERY dodgy performances with many equipment failures. We moved to backing tracks by the end of this era..

All tracks produced and mixed by Derek Anthony Williams

Jan Doyle Band Doncaster, UK

Jan Doyle Band weave and wind their own unique path through synthpop industrial goth and punk with a spectacularly engaging live show. Never content with repeating a sound they are always adventuring and moving forwards.

"A band half way to old school goth snagged on David, slipped in a puddle of glam; in a sense... The Clash on acid. PVC galore, glam metal hair, +makeup for days. Elektrovox.com
